Four classes built and programmed VEX robotics with the help and support from Mr. Cook’s Robotic Leadership students from Alpha last week. Each class, divided into 8 teams, spent a whole day in the portable focusing on collaboration, problem solving and of course-robotic building! Alpha is coming back to work with other classes using drone technology. This is all part of our new B.C. curriculum which also focuses on curricular competencies. This basically means doing instead of simply reading about it. This particular lesson focuses on the Applied Design, Skills and Technologies portion of the curriculum. This lesson is a great addition to the computer coding which many classes have been exploring this year.
